The Boutique Spa, in Bayswater, is a salon specialising in nails, massage and beauty. They offer typical treatments such as manicures, pedicures, massages, waxing and general pampering. When The Handbook was offered the chance to try out a treatment, we excitedly agreed.
We were welcomed in by friendly staff and told to sit and relax while the beautician organised her booth in a simply decorated and very nice smelling room. We opted for the ‘Classic manicure’ which included a buffing and shaping of our nails, followed by a relaxing hand massage and then of course, painting our nails. The beauty therapist did such a fine job of trimming my cuticles; I feel they may have been better suited to becoming a surgeon of some kind. I opted for an Essie nail polish from the rows of colours and brands that lined the walls, which was helped dry at the end with two little air hand dryers. With newly trimmed, buffed, massaged, oiled and painted nails I was then happily on my way.
Boutique spa is only a few minutes walk from Bayswater station and can be used as part of your beauty regime or as an indulgent treat. They also offer treatments for men and mothers to be, so no one will be left out of feeling the best, buffed up version of themselves.
