Sketch is launching a tea with a difference this month. The JING Twilight Tea, promises an evening alternative to the traditional afternoon affair. Served from 6-11pm in the Parlour and the Glade, the special tea will work well as a light dinner, alongside evening drinks or as part of a celebratory night on the town.
On arrival, guests will enjoy a palate cleanser of JING Silver Needle White Tea cold-infusion followed by a set menu, created by Pierre Gagnaire including Paris mushroom croque monsieur, Italian mortadella with figs, aubergine and apricot marmalade, and a Smoked salmon millefeuille with salmon roe and Jacob’s cream. And then it’s a selection of miniature éclairs and chocolate macaroons.
And to drink? Choose from the smoky Bohea Lapsang, a honeyed Oriental Beauty oolong, or a light and refreshing green Japanese Sencha. The tea is rounded off with a bespoke tea-infused cocktail using Bohea Lapsang, Roobois infused syrup and Jim Beam whisky.
