Frieze Masters is back for its second year as part of Frieze London Art Fair. Taking place in Regents Park between the 17th and 20th of October, it includes over 90 of the world’s leading galleries and celebrates the relationship between historical and contemporary art work.  

Offering a welcome respite for guests throughout the art fair, London’s first Kyoto restaurant, Umu, will be hosting a pop up a la carte restaurant and bar which will be serving up Japanese hot dishes and delicious cocktails. Think Bento boxes, sashimi, sushi, Umu ‘fish and chips’, tempura and grilled wagyu beef. Pudding comes in the form on black beer chocolate and Umu charamisu and cocktails include Nashi Ringo and a Shiso Cooler.

When it’s not at Frieze Masters, Umu’s permanent restaurant can be found on Bruton Lane and is home to an eclectic range of art work including pieces from Matisse and Barnaby Furnas and Joan Miro!
