If you like Champagne, you’ll love Tirage, a new concept pairing Champagne with all-day dining. Opening in the City in November, Tirage will boast a 120-strong Champagne and sparkling wine list, featuring familiar, unfamiliar and rare labels. 15-18 of these will be available by the glass, and there will be an opportunity for customers to purchase and take away their favourite variety.
Open all day, Tirage will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Head Chef Alasdair Fraser has come up with some inventive menus to accompany the extensive Champagne selection. The lavish Champagne breakfast will include boiled truffle eggs with bread sticks and parmesan shavings, accompanied by house label Perrier Jouët Grand Brut Champagne, to be followed by Boudin Blanc and Jacquesson Cuvee, and lastly fluffy blueberry pancakes with cinnamon butter and thyme honey and Olivier Coulon Tradition. The lunch and dinner options are just as exciting, including star anise honey-roasted duck breast with plum sauce and pancakes, and pan-fried foie gras with caramelized pear, chilli popcorn, kaffir lime and blini.
Offering something for everyone, a stylish atmosphere over two floors, and two private dining rooms available for groups and parties, Tirage is the place to be for the Champagne lover. Opens Monday– Friday, 7.30am–12.30am.
