UK’s first alcoholic yoghurt

UK’s first alcoholic yoghurt

Frozen yoghurt, coconut yoghurt… alcoholic yoghurt was only a matter of time. Gourmet yoghurt producer, The Collective, has created a Raspberry & Amaretto limited edition pot that’s strictly for grown-ups. Tangy, fresh raspberry compote has been spiked with classic Italian almond liqueur in a double layer of intense flavour, all folded through thick and creamy yoghurt.

The Collective founders may be chefs from New Zealand but this new flavour is made in Britain using only the best West Country milk. It’s also free from any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and suitable for vegetarians or those with gluten-free diets. But while we’re not quite clear about its alcoholic proof, it does only contain 5% fat. Booze free flavours include Passionfruit, Russian Fudge, Cherry & Pomegranate, Mighty Mango and Luscious Lemon.

Available from mid-October in Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Wholefoods, RRP £2.39 for 500g
