On 9 December, Brompton Bar & Grill will be collaborating with recently launched London Shooting Club to present the latest instalment of The Grill Club – and as it’s coming up to Christmas, what better theme to have than ‘Wild Boar’?
On arrival, guests will be treated to an aperitif and crudités with saffron aioli, which will be followed by a brief presentation from The London Shooting Club’s founder Steve Jones, who will be hunting the wild boar in France. He will describe the best ways of hunting wild boar and the difficulties he came across.
Guests will then be given a cooking demonstration by Brompton Bar & Grill owner and chef Francois O’Neill, who will be showing guests how best to cook and serve the meat. Executive Chef Gary Durrant will be preparing the delicious wild boar for the dinner.
After dinner, guests will enjoy a brief talk and tasting by Lea & Sandeman, one of London’s most respected independent wine dealers, who will be teaching guests which wines go particularly well with wild boar.
