In celebration of Paul Newman’s Global Family of Camps and Programmes designed to help children with serious illnesses, SeriousFun will be hosting a London gala at The Roundhouse.
The evening will begin at 7pm with a champagne reception and silent auction, which will be followed by a seated dinner, live auction and show at 8pm. The lineup is quite something, with musical performances by Roger Daltrey, Van Morrison and Kate Nash, and special appearances by Sir Michael Caine and Topol (who are both co-chairs of the SeriousFun gala committee), as well as Keira Knightley, Ewan McGregor and extraordinary SeriousFun campers. Carriages will be at 11.30pm.
SeriousFun Children’s Network has an impressive 30 camps globally, offering programmes to children with serious illnesses and their families, always free of charge. These camps serve more than 58000 children and their families each year. Since its inception in 1988, SeriousFun has served an incredible 440000 children and family members from over 50 countries.
Each camp is an independent charity, which relies entirely on voluntary donations to be able to offer these services to families for free. Not only will the event offer attendees a fabulous and entertaining night out, but it will also help to give the life-changing experiences that these camps offer to children with serious illnesses and their families across the world. Have a wonderful time and help people at the same time? Absolutely!
