Heard of George Ezra, Ella Eyre, Royal Blood? Yes? Good work! No? Well you should and you certainly will by the end of 2014. They are among the acts who have been nominated for the MTV Brand New for 2014. Joining them are the likes of The Vamps, Joel Compass and Kwabs, they are the bands and singers that MTV reckon will be big this year, and if you heard their music you would know why!
To celebrate this much coveted title Emporio Armani Diamonds in association with MTV Brand New for 2014 are putting on two exclusive gigs at Islington Assembly Hall on the 29th and 30th January both with sensational line ups. On Wednesday 29th Ella Eyre and George Ezra will take to the stage with special guest Katy B followed on Thursday by BRITs Critics’ Choice Award winner, Sam Smith and fellow MTV Brand New artists, Joel Compass and Kwabs. The two gigs will then air as part of a night of Brand New programming on MTV Music on Sunday 9th February at 9pm.
Both showcases will be a one-off opportunity to see the hottest and most anticipated talent of 2014 perform. The winner of this year’s coveted MTV Brand New for 2014 will be revealed on Monday 3rd February and public voting is still open (click here to vote) until Thursday 30th January, so vote for your favourite act now!
