An Evening of Rugby and Gastronomy at The Langham

Whether you’re a rugby fan or you just have a penchant for men who can pull off a pair of  shorts (don’t we all?),  The Langham is hosting a dinner and drinks reception with some of England and Wales’ most famous names. Before England and Wales meet to play at Twickenham on Sunday 9th March, players such as Phil Vickery, Brian Moore and Welsh stars Scott Quinnell and Robert Jones will lay their memories of the pitch bare to fans over dinner and drinks at The Langham

If the mention of rugby players has sparked your interest, start your evening rubbing shoulders with them at a Bollinger champagne reception before carrying on to a fantastic five course dinner curated by award winning chef Michel Roux Jr. With wine pairings matched to each course by wine connoisseurs Berry Brothers and Rudd, the night will then retire to a digestif of Glenrothes whiskey and coffee where host Will Carling OBE will engage the players in detailed conversation about their career highlights on the pitch.

A night of excellent gastronomy and first hand accounts we doubt you’ll find anywhere else, this looks to be a fantastic night for sports and shorts worshippers alike.

The event is hosted on 6th March from 7pm and is priced at £195 per person.  This will include the Bollinger Champagne reception, five course dinner with wine pairings,  Glenrothes whisky, coffee petit fours, VAT and service.
