As a new addition to Chelsea’s King’s Road, new restaurant The Imperial is looking to impress us all with an array of Valentine’s Day specials this 14th. Housed in a sleek Victorian building it has pulled out all the stops in an attempt to woo you with fresh, locally sourced ingredients with a distinctly aphrodisiac feel about them.
Created by talented chef Tom Hope, start your evening with plump Kent & Essex oysters served with shallot vinegar, lemon & Tabasco. Afterwards get torn between smoked venision berries, red quinoa, toasted seeds and wild herbs or duck breast and heart, parsnip puree, charred leek and black pudding. All before winding down your evening with a flirtatious dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream.
