Valentine’s Day at Gilgamesh

We love flowers and chocolates for Valentine’s Day as much as anyone else but we also really love cocktails and we adore diamonds. So put diamonds and cocktails together and we would have one very happy Valentine’s Day. Well over at Gilgamesh, in Camden, one lucky diner will win a diamond worth £2000 (provided by renowned Hatton Garden jeweller, Star Jewellers) which they will find at the bottom of a Pink Martini aptly named Diamonds are Forever.  A cocktail that is sure to impress and a Valentine’s Day to remember.

Whilst you are ordering as many cocktails as you can to find the diamond, then it might be a good idea to eat something too, so it is just your luck then that there is a delicious Valentine’s  menu to match. To start the ultimate aphrodisiac – King Prawn Tempura, with an aphrodisiac powered ponzo dressing, followed by Pink Lady Seafood Dumplings and their signature Duck & watermelon salad to share. For main course, think the finest organic Angus beef dressed with wasabi celeriac puree and wild mushroom jus or Chilean sea bass, roasted cherry tomato salsa and soy onion dressing. For the perfect end to Valentine’s Day then the Sweet Happy Endings dessert is a must – and let’s just hope you walk away with the diamond too!
