Cheese and Wine at The InterContinental

Is there any greater pleasure than wine and cheese?

We don’t think so. So if you’re a bit of an aficionado grab your likeminded friends (we are sure you’ll find many willing participants) and head over to InterContinental London Park Lane for the new Italian cheese and wine pairings on the menu.

Curated by Head Sommelier Yuri Gualeni, the board will take form as a journey around Italy featuring four carefully selected Italian wines with regional cheeses. Starting the tour in the North and moving on to the stronger stuff in the South the selection will start with a mild goat and ewe’s milk cheese paired with a wine from the Piemonte region before progressing on to a sweet Moscato cut fiercely with a matching Gorgonzola.

Launched alongside the restaurant’s new menu of aperitivi, Italian cocktails and Theresianer beers, InterContinental Park Lane is fast becoming the best place in London to  prop up the bar with some cheese and wine.

With prices starting at £24 per person you can find more information on the menu by contacting the hotel on 02074093131
