Chocolate Selfies at Harvey Nichols

The selfie- whether you love them or hate them we’re all definitely guilty of indulging occasionally.  Maybe it’s a sly, post hairdresser snap or a full length, duck pout selfie – the whole world’s at it and to make matters even better now we’re even doing it in chocolate.

Definitely something to be seen to be believed, head down to the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in the next four weeks where they will be using the latest in 3D printing technology to create personalised chocolate selfies for everyone. Perhaps not one for the camera shy, the process involves stepping into a 5 minute scan as the printing booth takes in every inch of you ready to create a mould. Afterwards, the silicone mould will be cast from the scan and rich, melted Rococo chocolate will be poured in and cooled – thus providing you with your very own chocolate mini me.

Giftwrapped and a mere ten days later, a full figurine of you will arrive at your door- perfect for a present to yourself or someone else.

With prices starting at £99 you can book a session in the scanning booth by contacting food.market@harveynichols.com
