Smörgåsbord at AVEQIA

Sweden. Think ABBA, think Volvo, think Smörgåsbord…?

Never heard of it? Well head down to AVEQIA next month to find out more! Known for team building and client entertainment through Active Cooking, AVEQIA is opening its doors to the public. From the 9th of April they’ll be putting on a Smörgåsbord event in a modern take on traditional Swedish cooking. Promised to be an open table delight the lunch will comprise of a collection of Swedish delicacies to entice and excite,  including mountain reindeer, gravlax and AVEQIA’S own pickled herring  smoked and salted to perfection. Made popular in 17th century Sweden, as a celebratory meal, the fine dining element with recipes chosen by talented chefs Roland Persson and David Berggren will re-enact this to a 21st century audience.

The AVEQIA Smörgåsbord can be experienced by dining in at their London City venue on St Bride Street or as a takeaway dish if you are just passing by. They will also be offering a delivery service to surrounding offices if you're looking to swap your lunchtime meal deal for some Smörgåsbord action.

Make sure you come and say ‘Hej’ this April and experience traditional Swedish hospitality at AVEQIA.

The Smörgåsbord event will take place from Wednesday 9th April 2014, Monday to Friday (12 noon until 3pm) . For more information contact AVEQIA on 02079369004
