Assado; the new Goan-Portuguese Restaurant

Assado; the new Goan-Portuguese Restaurant

Opened in March 2014, Assado is the new Goan-Portuguese restaurant based a short walk away from Waterloo station. Perfectly positioned on the commuter route, Assado is ideal for a quick, easy and tasty meal on your lunch break.

Offering a fresh selection of sandwichs and deli favourites, on a variety of breads, and a wide selection of delicious and unusual ready meals, just waiting to be heated up in the office or at home, such as a Pulled Pork Assado or a Lamb Xacutti with Garlic Rice, it couldn't be more varied. So whether you are wanting an unusual Venison Poker meal or a simple chicken baguette, the choice is there for you right in front of your eyes.

Infusing the taste of home made ingredients; it uses chorizos and lomos which have been made from local meat and cured in freshly ground herbs and spices. It is also the perfect stop for a pre theatre dinner, hosting an excellent menu, oh, and how could we forget, it’s owned by celebrity chefs Cyrus Todiwala and Pervin Todiwala.

But don’t just take our word for it, why not try it out for yourself!
