Chilli Chilli Bang Bang Festival

Chilli Chilli Bang Bang Festival

Rumours are going round that London is set to have a heat wave of three months this year. Three. Months! But just in case this turns out not to be true (most likely in our pessimistic view) then at least you can experience another sort of heat at Street Feast’s latest venture Chilli Chilli Bang Bang.

Happening in Dalston Yard, the two day festival on the 9th and 10th May will be celebrating the almighty chilli pepper – love it or loathe it – you can’t deny it packs a real punch. It’s brought to you by Tweat Up, Jose Cuervo tequila and Wahaca founder Thomasina Miers. The festival will include spice markets, fiery street food, and demonstrations from chefs including Gizzi Erskin, Tom Parker-Bowles, Thomasina Miers and Tim Anderson.

Food wise – well man you’re going to have trouble choosing, our advice? Try them all. There's Mexican from Wahaca, which will be serving signature pork pibil tacos, Indian from Rola Wala and Roti Chai, Sichuanese from Bar Shu, Thai from Som Saa, Japanese from Nanban and Yum Bun, as well as Singaporean, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Korean street food staples and pepped up American 'cue and US diner favourites from SmokeStak B.O.B.'s Lobster and Slider Bar. There will also be award-winning chilli chocolate treats from Rococo and cocktails from Jose Cuervo tequila!

There will also be live entertainment too, seriously what more could you need or want? Maybe just for the sun to shine!
