London can’t get enough of cultural pop-ups. Another one lands behind a hidden doorway, down the road from Vauxhall Underground station, in a fully functional steelyard serving as an unconventional but fitting venue for a Scottish weekend pop-up starting Friday 23rd May.
Upon entering the industrial scene guests are greeted with a welcome cocktail and can sample traditional Scottish scran through a six course tasting menu, which includes haggis bon bons, potted smoked mackerel, and a creamy Cullen Skink soup shooter. A deep-fried Mars Bar even makes an appearance at dessert. Alongside the food, Innis & Gunn beer, a range of gin and whisky cocktails, an oak aged beer collection, and not to forget a few choice single malts available by the dram.
Sit at the family-style communal tables, try the food and bevvy, soak up the party atmosphere and enjoy a Scottish knees-up every Friday and Saturday evening from 7.30pm and Sundays from 2pm. Get your tartan glad rags on!
Dram & Smoke will be running every weekend between Friday 23rd May until Sunday 6th July.
