Didn’t make it to Brazil this year for the World Cup? Or are you more like us and food is more your thing than football? Well we have just the thing for you Brazilian barbecue restaurant, Cabana are recreating a corner of Rio’s beaches in the heart of Covent Garden in the form of The Grill from Ipanema – a Brazilian beach grill complete with golden sand from Brazil’s shores.

Starting on Saturday 28th June until July 13th The Grill from Ipanema will be serving up a selection of new Cabana dishes including flame grilled skewers, chicken coxinhas and cassava chips, while refreshments from Rio include of caipirinhas and batidas, we’ll take several of each.

Throughout the day frescoball will be played – come on you must know that’s Brazil’s iconic beach game – keep up; as well as cooking masterclasses, samba workshops and a whole host of one off events.

Sand? Check. Great food? Check. Caipirinhas? Double check. Sun, you better make an appearance – this is Brazil in Covent Garden after all.
