Celebrate the 450th anniversary of Sir William Shakespeare's birth at a festive Midsummer Nights’ Feast. The Montagu restaurant at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill on Portman Square,  provides an extraordinary experience that will transport you back to the times of one of the most prized poets.

A series of Shakespearean evenings filled with feasting and theatrics begins with the “Love’s Labour’s Won," a clever cocktail created by the Churchill Bar & Terrace team. The tasty tipple is a blend of nettle infused malmsey, Clouded Yellow wheat beer mead and Bushmill’s Irish whisky that's served in a silver tankard with a guinea fowl feather quill garnish.

Once guests settle into their seats they are presented with a menu of fine Elizabethan fare. To start vessels of soup, cured meats and smoked fish, rustic breads and patés are dished out followed by salt-crusted sea bass, roasted leg of succulent lamb, or a medley of fresh, summer vegetables encased in a light pastry.

Dessert includes heavenly spiced honey cakes, fresh berry fools, and lavish boards of cheeses and fruits. During the elegant feast patrons are entertained by a Shakespearean actors showcase, performing dramatic scenes from the Bard's finest works. 

£35 per person and are available to book every Thursday evening until 31 July from 19.00 to 21.30.
