Bentley’s, on Swallow Street, is situated in a historic Victorian building on the borders of Soho and Mayfair. The restaurant came to life in 2005, when it was taken over by talented chef and restaurateur Richard Corrigan. He refurbished the venue to its former glory, making the building one of the oldest and most prestigious seafood restaurants in London today.
Their passion and skill for seafood is clear as soon as you taste the food; our favourite was the Bentley Lobster which was full of flavour and a definite recommendation. A close second were the delicious oysters, but if you are a seafood fan this is the place to be as the menu is filled with ocean treats like scallops, clams, prawns, whelks, crab and multiple fish options.
The Swallow Street Rooms at Bentley’s Mayfair is ideal for lunches and dinners for 15 to 60 guests, with its own private bar and lounge area and dining room. The Crustacea Room, a beautiful dining room with natural daylight, is perfect for special occasions or corporate dinners for up to 14 people. Upstairs in the dining room they serve meat on the menu, but for all seafood lovers the real fun is to be had downstairs where you can be immersed into the smells of beautifully cooked Seafood and the lively surroundings.
