In honour of the start of grouse season the renowned Notting Hill restaurant The Shed is teaming up with The London Shooting Club to host an evening featuring a grand feast. On the 12th of August The London Shooting Club will bring the first grouse of the season down from the Yorkshire moors straight into The Shed’s kitchen.
Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a rich selection of appetizers including rabbit cutlet, pigeon dipper and mushroom Marmite. Visitors are then welcome to attend a short talk about shooting grouse given by The London Shooting Club co-founder, Steve Jones, followed by an elegant three-course meal.
The impressive menu will highlight all things game, with dishes such as pigeon dippers and venison cigars in addition to the grand roasted grouse. For dessert The Shed will offer three of their signature dishes – a wild plum with spelt barley, golden syrup sponge and crème fraîche. As a parting gift, diners will receive complimentary recipe cards on how to prepare and cook the perfect grouse.
The event is taking place on the 12th August at 7:30 pm and booking is essential.
