Patrick La Roche’s Vegetables Exhibition

Getting your 5-a-day just got a new meaning with the launch of artist, Patrick La Roche’s new exhibition, Vegetables. In a homage to all things healthy, the exhibition housed in Sofitel London St James, will see your typical veg given a chrome make-over and supersized, sounds odd but even Karl Lagerfeld is a fan.

To celebrate Laroche’s art, the hotel’s restaurant, The Balcon, has created a special menu geared towards the mighty vegetable with treats like Sweet pea sliders in a cornbread madeline, shallot jam and cucumber mint sauce. There is also a special cocktail (sans alcohol) aptly named the LaRoche which is made completely of vegetables and a vegetable smoothie which is rich in vegetables, nutrients and vitamins – perfect for the morning after the night before.

The exhibition alongside the menu runs 18th September to 31st October in Sofitel London St James.
