An All-American Affair

You better get your game faces on, as long time lovers of all things American, porky’s BBQ, are launching their latest offering from over the Atlantic. The perfect accompaniment to their Memphis inspired fare, comes in the form of frat house favourite beer pong. A sport (debatably, but it has its own world series) that essentially involves tossing ping-pong balls into your opponents’ beer-filled cups and if successful they must down said cup – and vice-versa. Porky’s BBQ will host weekly tournaments as well as a monthly knock-out championship where sticky-fingered players can compete for a highly-coveted prize.

In between games you can soak up some of the excess alcohol with a plate of their signature meaty ribs and tips, smoked low and slow over hickory wood and served with porky’s bbq sauce. Alternatively, enjoy sides of creamed spinach and sweet potato fries alongside their spiced and fried catfish. To finish try their delicious chocolate pecan pie served with squirty cream or the ever-popular American classic: baked vanilla cheesecake.

With tasty food, an impressive selection of drinks (they do more than just beer) and the chance to feel like you’re starring in an all-American college movie, beer pong nights at porky’s BBQ look like they’re well worth a visit.
