This weekend head to Dalston Yard for a celebration of all things pig (although maybe stay away if your affection lies in their happy-go-lucky nature rather than their delicious taste). Pork Life is a new street food festival, born through a collaboration between Masterchef champion Tim Anderson and Big Eater (the talented team behind Chilli Chilli Bang Bang, National Burger Day and Ribstock).
They, with the help of a whole host of your favourite vendors, (Bubbledogs, NanBan, Turner & George, Le Swine and Q Grill to name but a few) will be serving up all the classics – bacon sarnies, hot dogs and crispy pork bellies – alongside some more novel swine selections; smoked jowl buns, hog sliders and a slow-smoked boar-becue are all on offer. Bad Brownie has even got dessert sorted in their Bacon Maple creation…Incredible.
With plenty of liquid refreshments (all pig free, I promise) and lots of entertaining activities to be held across the weekend; it’s a fun foodie feast not to be missed.
Pork Life runs 26-27 September 2014 at Dalston Yard with tickets available now.
