A friend of mine once said ‘Brunch without champagne is really just a sad, late breakfast’ and how right they were. There is just something about our favourite meal of the day that lacks a little bit of lustre without a few bubbles involved, and with Champagne Day just around the corner, we were delighted to hear about the Champagne Brunch that has just launched at Villandry, St James.
The brunch, which will be available all weekend, will feature a selection of offerings from freshly baked pastries to eggs as well as very exciting cake platter! Whilst the an unlimited supply of Frerejean Frères 1er Cru will certainly make it a weekend to remember, for those of you who had perhaps had one too many the night before, there will be plenty of coffee and fresh orange juice available, on guard to cure any unwanted hangovers. Although, they do say the best cure after a late night is to get back on the horse, and if that is the case, you might as well do it with champagne…
With sittings at 10am, 12pm and 2pm, even the night owls have no excuse to check it out and with bubbles involved how could they resist!

Florence was once kicked out of ballet for being a little too over-enthusiastic. She's just landed in London, and whilst she is not going to be the winner of Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon, she can still be found tapping her Chelsea boots all over the capital.
