Anna, Duchess of Bedford was an expert at setting trends, fashionable one might say, after all she was the one who came up with afternoon tea because she got hungry between breakfast and supper, which you know was probably scandalous back in 19th century, cake between meals – how daring! Well now after years of tea and scones, there is a new decadence in town, macarons and old James Bond’s favourite, martinis, courtesy of Ohlala Macarons.
They’ve teamed up with the quintessentially British label Antoni & Alison to host an afternoon of indulgence. In the super cute and charming ‘Ye Olde Worlde Super Modern Tearoom’ they’ll be teaching you how to bake the perfect macaron with flavours inspired by Antoni & Alison’s A/W 2014 collection and since the collection also uses 1960’s New York as its muse they’ll be teaching you how to shake delectable martinis, for when tea doesn’t quite cut it.
We’ve also heard there is no limit to how martinis and macarons you can feast on, Anna would have been pleased… another martini vicar?
The Masterclass takes place 11th October, tickets are available from the website.
