As much as we hate to admit it one of our favourite guilty pleasures at the moment is Ladies of London. Love it or despise it, you cannot deny that watching the Americans take on the capital is hilarious and it would appear the American and British mash up is catching on with the announcement of a special Thanksgiving menu at CUT, 45 Park Lane.
Showing us British how the Americans really are (sorry Ladies of London, you can’t be serious), Head Chef Wolfgang Puck will be drawing on his Austro-American roots to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving Meal. Featuring classic dishes such as Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Cranberry-Quince compote, it will be hard not to find something to be thankful for this year…even if it is just the fantastic winter TV schedule that has been laid on for us. It wouldn’t be American if there was not something sweet to end your meal on and with desserts such as Spiced Pumpkin and Vanilla Gelato Baked Alaska, NYC won’t seem quite so far away.
For those that enjoy a festive tipple, make sure you try the Black Friday Thanksgiving cocktail crated by Bar 45’s mixologist, Thomas Morris. The cocktail, which is comprised of Campari, sweet vemouth and gin has been infused with festive flavours in a vintage aged barrel. Think cinnamon and star anise and once again, finding something to be thankful for won’t be too tricky. For those of you that don’t already know, Black Friday is considered the first day of the Christmas shopping season in America- which in our book is certainly worth toasting to.
The Black Friday cocktail is available to try from 1st November whilst the Thanksgiving menu will be available to order on 27th November.

Florence was once kicked out of ballet for being a little too over-enthusiastic. She's just landed in London, and whilst she is not going to be the winner of Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon, she can still be found tapping her Chelsea boots all over the capital.
