Congratulations are in order for Doran and Valeria Zilkha who are about to welcome a new addition to their Quarter Group family- the Kensington Quarter based at The Indigo Hotel. The Kensington Quarter which opens on the 1st November, is already set to live up to the names of its older brothers and sisters reflecting the family’s commitment to creating stylish yet relaxed surroundings centered around a passion for food and wine.
The innovative new café, bar, restaurant and deli (good multi-tasking) has been designed by the award winning consultancy firm Dexter Moren Associates, offering a home from home atmosphere to guests in an all-day dining experience. Following the family theme, Head Chef Riad Zailuk, has produced a menu that features locally inspired dishes created from locally sourced ingredients. With menu highlights that embrace the best of Mummy’s cooking such as five spices braised mutton shoulder and free range chicken and pigeon pastilla pie, you can enjoy that family dinner without any of the washing up! There are also sharing platters available to try- perfect for a light lunch of afternoon snack.
What’s more the in-house Deli means that you can take some of the delights home with you, featuring the likes of Doisy&Dam’s luxury organic chocolate, organic apple juice from family run Moor’s Farm in Kent and Dodd’s gin, a small batch gin made from organic botanicals created by Battersea-based The London Distillery. Sign us up now!
The Kensington Quarter will be open Monday to Sunday, 7am to 11pm.
