The Little Yellow Door

Let’s be honest, as much as we love a good night out, it is pretty difficult to top a great house party. There is just something about these wild affairs that you wouldn’t find on your average night out and whilst the flat party we have in mind is probably more Made in Chelsea than Skins, that does not reduce it standing as a great affair. For this reason alone, we were delighted to hear about The Little Yellow Door, a party pop-up that is descending onto Notting Hill Gate promising weekly dinners and drinks that will be difficult to forget, despite probably being a little hard to remember.

Coining itself ‘The Ultimate Flat Share’ TLYD promises a week of debauchery based on the fictional flat share of five friends. You can officially enjoy all of the benefits of a great house party without any of the washing or clearing up simply by passing through the Little Yellow Door. Once inside you will find the best of these drunken affairs, abound with hand-written menus drawn on the back of magazines, cocktails whipped up and shared out from blenders as well as bar snacks bought to you by The Wandering Chef such as ‘The Fridge Raider’ and ‘The Yoga Bunny’. Rumour has it if you become a regular visitor you will be suited and booted with your own key and mug stocked up with punch.

Filled with quirky possessions the flat will have an eclectic feel and with a continuous stream of friends coming and going each day, it will be a trove of treasures worth exploring.
