What do Ikea, ABBA and The Bluebird all have in common? No not great music, fantastic furniture and delicious food (although they all have these too) but Scandinavia. Now we know that The Bluebird’s inclusion in this denouncement is a little strange but bear with us because on 24th November, Scandinavia will officially be coming to Chelsea in the shape of The Bluebird’s Scandi Bird pop-up and don’t worry, any ABBA shenanigans will be left at home.
The pop-up terrace, which will be transformed into a Nordic inspired haven complete with Christmas trees, twinkling fairy lights and reindeer skins will be open to enjoy until Christmas Eve and will certainly be a Scandinavian venue that any Heidi would be proud of. Adding some festive cheer into the mix, The Scandi Bird bar will be on guard with the help of a specially created Belvedere vodka menu and a selection of Scandinavian inspired snacks. Think gravlax with rye bread and meatballs with a cream and cranberry sauce and you will get a taste of what it is all about.
And if it gets a bit chilly, which is always does in Norway, then make sure to wrap up in a reindeer blanket with a mug of Min Alksling, a hot chocolate perked up with a shot of vodka and Chambord liquor. To really embrace your inner Viking, make you try the Scandinavian mulled wine: Glogg, which rumour has it can get even the most Grinchy or Scrooges feeling merry.
The Scandi Bird will be open from 24th November until Christmas Eve.

Florence was once kicked out of ballet for being a little too over-enthusiastic. She's just landed in London, and whilst she is not going to be the winner of Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon, she can still be found tapping her Chelsea boots all over the capital.
