Celebrity chefs donate to ActionAid

Christmas is the time of giving and now award-winning celebrity chefs and food writers are sharing their tips and tricks to kitchen success in the name of charity, ActionAid.

Ready Steady Cook’s Brian Turner and popular actress and food writer Fay Ripley have both donated delicious recipes which are designed to serve as easy how-tos for supporters who are throwing Christmas fundraising events like bake-sales. Eric Lanlard also shared his take on mince pies while Lili Vanilli will give an up-to-date twist on using traditional Christmas ingredients like plums during the festive season.

If you want to do your part to help (but aren’t a famous chef) then fret not as ActionAid has come up with a few ideas like festive get-togethers or Gifts in Action as part of their Christmas appeal. More details can be found on their website.
