You are all probably well aware that it is Christmas soon, and that the festive season is almost upon us as you have to check that your ears aren’t playing tricks on you as the first Christmas song starts blaring from supermarket speakers. But did you know that a much more important season is also taking place? I am of course talking about cod season!
Well someone that is well aware is iconic seafood restaurant Randall & Aubin who has launched their Oh My Cod menu. Lunchtime visitors can treat themselves to Large Premium In-Shore Cod & Chips with House Tartar Sauce & Pickled Shallots served with a crisp glass of English Cider, all for £9.50 – cha-ching.
Previous visitors to this Soho venue include Winston Churchill and Elizabeth David amongst many others, although they probably missed the marble tables, antique chandeliers and retro disco ball that currently decorate the interior.
