Say goodbye to any dieting New Year’s resolutions you may have and hello to KERB’s new semi- permanent residency in Hackney Wick, where from 5th December you will be treated to some innovative cooking every Friday and Saturday night. Based in an old mirror factory, The Clubhouse will be a covered, experimental food market complete with indulgent street food and live music.
For those that don’t already know, KERB was created by Petra Barran after she embarked on her own food journey by converting a van into ‘choc star’. Since then she has taken KERB all over London, helping to promote the best street food delights across the capital. And this year, it is no different with Fundi Pizza and Bleeker Burger both taking permanent diner-style residence. Fundi’s mirror ball mosaic pizza oven will take centre stage, setting the tone for live music and DJ sets that will be taking place until 12am.
Also on the cards will be Kothu Kothu, chicken wings from BBQ Lab, Tacos from Luardos Kimchinary and Crabbie Shack which will be serving up crab, fries and cockle popcorn. Where can we get some? Any post-dancing munchies will be satisfied by YOU doughnuts and for when winter becomes too much, BBQ Dreamz will be on hand with lemongrass duck hearts at the ready.
The Clubhouse, which opens 5th December, will be open every Friday and Saturday night until March 2015.
