The brains behind the creative food pop ups, Art of Dining, have done a time warp with their latest dining experience, Abigail’s Party, transporting guests back to the 70s for a night of groovy grub, retro drinks and every shade of beige known to mankind.
The five course dinner will take dishes best forgotten and give them a magical touch from Moro-trained chef Ellen Parr that you won’t want to miss out on. For example the prawn cocktail may be your nans favourite dish but we bet she won’t recognise it done Art of Dining style with its subtle, infused Thai flavours.
Rediscover the magic of mousse and the fun of fondue in the 70s themed set where you can bet your shag-pile carpet it will be filled with classic 70s garb like lava lamps, loud wallpaper and jazzy sofas. The music will of course be in-keeping with the theme, sure to make any bonafide diva give their sassy nod of approval with the likes of the soaring tenor of Demis Roussos amongst other throw-back classics.
Abigail’s Party kicks off 11th March near Haggerston overground station. See full dates, book your tickets and step back in time on the website.
