The Handbook
The Handbook

Most of us working in the city are busy bees and things can seem to fly past like the latest films and trends (looms bands?) without us noticing, but then London is the land of creative pop ups so step up Backyard Cinema. Feature length films once on your ‘must see’ list are available to see again on the big screen thanks to this high quality, roaming pop-up cinema. This weekend pays homage to Awards Season where award winning blockbusters are screened in cinematic style at Altitude in Milbank Tower.

Prepare to feel like an A-list celeb as the red carpet welcomes you while traditional 1950s usherettes lead you upstairs 29 floors where you can enjoy incredible views over the capital. Tickets start at £15 for entry and an extra £3 to add in champagne but if you splash the cash and upgrade to the £29 option then you get to chill out with a glass of champagne and film inspired food.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is screened tomorrow followed by The Theory of Everything and ‘71 on Saturday 14th March and Boyhood on Friday 20th March. Tickets are available on the website.
