While we’re embracing that lukewarm transaction between winter and summer Scarfes Bar have been working on a new lunch menu to keep you feeling hot!

Head Chef – Palash Mitra – has created some ultimate comfort dishes to put some colour in your cheeks.

Mitra uses a range of of local ingredients and also sources fair trade premium spices from a number of growers in India. The lunch menu offers a variety of culinary delights including Memne Chaanp (Lamb Chops with Ginger and Mint) and Aloo Gobhi Mattar (Cauliflower, Marrowfat Peas and Potatoes, Asafoetida and Coriander).

Evenings present a mixture of Indian bar snacks which have been inspired by English pub favourites. Of course an Indian wouldn’t be complete without an alcoholic beverage or two! Swap the standard choice of beer for Scarfes cocktail of the month – The Bunga Bunga. This beauty presents a mixture of tequila, Del Maguey Vida Mezcal and Hawian black salts. We’ve never tried one but it sounds like a tingling taste sensation!
