Foodies move quickly, as for one night only, celebrated restauranteur Mark Hix will be hosting an intimate dinner for 12 people with his former colleague Anton Edelmann. Anton was a former inspiration to Mark when they worked together and now they are going to be reunited, nearly 20 years later, to cook and discuss how their cooking has evolved.
Those of you already familiar with the London food scene will recognise Mark Hix as the chef behind restaurants such as HIX Oyster & Chop House, HIX Soho and HIX at Browns Hotel to name but a few. Anton Edelmann is also an accomplished chef with cookery writer, television cook and maître chef des cuisines at the Savoy Hotel in London on his CV.
On 19th March guests will be treated to cocktails and canapés before they sit down for a 4-course dinner with matching wine as their food is prepared in front of them by the skilled Hix/ Edelmann pair. Throughout the evening the two chefs will also be discussing the dishes they used to cook together, the changing of ingredients and food trends, and how their skills have adapted and evolved over the years. If you’re lucky, you might even pick up a few cooking tips!
The event takes place at Mark Hix’s restaurant Tramshed at 7.30pm, tickets costs £175. To book your place please call on 0207 749 0478 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
