Today is not just a rainy, wet March Monday, (even if that’s what it feels like) rather it is also the start of the Truffle Week at M Restaurants. To celebrate the end of the Périgord truffle season, Head Chef, Jarad McCarrol has created a sumptuous bespoke menu with truffle throughout which they’ll be serving at the Threadneedle street restaurant this week.
To start you’ll find pan-fried scallops with truffle and cauliflower puree and truffle butter, before moving on to a main-course that is not for the faint-hearted. It’s M signature Blackmore wagyu D rump with truffle pomme puree, caramelised shallot, truffled madeira jus, foie gras and truffle shaving. Rounding off the meal will be decadent chocolate truffles.
That should be enough truffles to keep you going until the next season comes round.
