If you’ve had enough of Facebook, have never used Google+ (because let’s be honest, who has?) and feel like Instagram is no longer fulfilling your foodie needs, then we have a great new social media for you to try!
Ambam is the first ever social network exclusively for London dwellers and its aim is to connect folk across the land of London through their common interests (other than Game of Thrones) and also give them some cool rewards along the way. Personally, we never say no to a freebie, however, Ambam’s treats look far cooler than a personalised rubber stamp (just one of many great titbits in our headquarters) so it seems like this site could become, in the words of Louis Walsh, the next big thing.
A quick scan of the deathly silence that pervades London’s train carriages would make you think that Londoner’s aren’t exactly social creatures. But that’s just because it’s 9 a.m. and there’s a number of places we’d rather be that under a forty year old man’s sweaty armpit. Ambam solves such issues by grouping users into ‘circles’ to that focus on shared interests. These currently include music, food and fashion, and allow users to join the circles and chat to people with similar interests, as well as receive free gifts from companies in the industry. It’s basically like when you’re edgy friend Snapchats the latest cool product, but this time you’ll actually be able to get your hands on it.
So if you want to be kept up to date with all the latest goings on in the world of music, fashion or food then Ambam is the site for you. London is a playground of bars, concerts and restaurants and you my friend, just got free reign of the swings (cool childhood allegory, am I right?)
