Champagne and Peroni at Harvey Nichols

Everyone loves a brunch and everyone loves Champagne, right? So when you put the two together it can only be a glorious thing.  Which is exactly what Harvey Nichols has done with the launch of their bottomless brunch.

 The perfect Sunday solution, it will be running from 11am – 3pm and will take place in the 5th floor café, terrace, bars and restaurants. Starting with a Bloody Mary to nurse the hangover of course, you’ll then move on to as much Champagne as you can drink – (we hope for our livers’ sake there is a time limit). To eat there will be fresh fruit and small sharing plates that will change seasonally.

 If Champagne isn’t your thing and you’re more a beer sort of person, (or you’re like us and you love  both), then head to the 5th floor terrace for the House of Peroni. Having been transformed into an al fresco veranda, the terrace will have all the scents and sounds of an Italian flower garden in Springtime.

 They’ll be serving up Italian aperitivo which have been influenced by classic Italian street food – but given the Harvey Nichols twist, so expect to find paranza popcorn and deep-fried oxtail lollipops covered in chocolate crumble. Whilst drinks will be infused with Peroni Nastro Azzurro and will feature unusual, fragrant ingredients such as bergamot and juniper as well as abundance of fruits.

 So sit back under the canopy of flowers, drink in hand and for an hour or two you can picture yourself in sunny Italy, not London.

 The bottomless brunch (reservations only)  and House of Peroni are both available until Sunday 24th May.
