34 in London is known for its great steak and shellfish selection but this week sees the culinary skills of Ben Orpwood (previously at Zuma and Roka) offering alternative dishes of sharing plates with sashimi, scallops with yuzu & soy granita and tuna tataki.
Ben Orpwood will be giving 34 restaurant a tantalising taste of the southern hemisphere as he has picked up many techniques and tastes from his gastronomic wanderings from countries like Australia, Dubai and Istanbul. Ben will be accompanying Head Chef of 34, Harvey Ayliffe, as he continues to create classic 34 dishes like steaks, lobster mac and shrimp cocktail, but the mainstay of the menu will be Ben’s dishes. Ben is also a great fan of the pastry section and will be working closely with Pastry Chef Alice Hall to offer a diverse and mouth-watering dessert menu including doughnuts, ice creams, peanut crunch bar, cheesecake and Ben’s yuzu and frozen marshmallow and chocolate tofu.
Ben Orpwood will be at 34 until 17th May.
