You have two choices when it comes to this stomach churning situation – crawl into the foetal position and die a little bit or shake yourself and look for the the cure. The Handbook prefer to look for the cure, this is usually a tastier and more effective method. So here are the hangouts that will tide your fragile body over until Monday morning…

Centrally located in S.t James Park this is the perfect stop of if you haven’t quite made it home from your night of glitz and glamour. This brunch includes a pastry of your choice, a cute cake platter, and la piece de la resistance. Unlimited tea, coffee and orange juice is also on tap to rehydrate you between sittings of unlimited Frerejean Frères Champagne.

Flesh and Buns

Get oriental with Flesh and Buns bottomless Bloody Mary’s or Raspberry E-Mules. The ‘izakaya’ (casual drinking den) supplies each diner with an endless supply of small plates such as beef tataki, seafood ceviche and sushi rolls. The whole meal is finished off with a dessert for the table such as black sugar custard donuts or s’mores. Bourne and Hollingsworth

The most recent addition to London’s brunch scene is Bourne and Hollingsworth, this light-filled space with its floral decoration and trailing plants will make you feel instantly fresher than you look. Accompany your Huevos Benedictos (chorizo, avocado, béarnaise sauce and pico de gallo) with free refills of their Bloody Mary or Seasonal Bellini. Need some carbs to soak up last nights regrets? Try their drop scones, crumpets and preserves.

Good old Harvey Nics never lets us down and they have surpassed themselves when it comes to Sunday morning brunch. Finish your weekend in style with unlimited champagne, bellinis and small plates. The small plate menu includes a fresh fruit selection with granola and lime and ginger cream or chorizo aranchi with romesco dip. We’ll take it all. Twice. Thrice?

The Henry Root

Kick back in West Brompton’s leafy park walk where The Henry Root is situated. This upmarket restaurant features egg’s benedict, buttermilk pancakes and a full english. If you choose to indulge with two courses (Ha. of course we will) you get unlimited prosecco. Can you say proseccwow?
