Brunch like a New Yorker

Who doesn’t love a good brunch? It’s the staple of every person who loves a lie and didn’t quite get going early enough to make it to breakfast. It’s also the ideal mid-morning snack for when you realise what a mistake your bowl of Weetabix was. Over at the The Montagu they are launching a New York Italian Style brunch filled with more meatballs and Bloody Mary’s than you can shake a stick at.

Alongside mouth-watering dishes like risotto, spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar salad, salami and cheese and gourmet pizzas will be live music performances from the Hot Dog Corn Dogs band. Settle down for the show in the Hyatt’s restaurant which boasts a vibrant open-plan kitchen and stunning views over Portman Square.

What brunch is complete without something to sweeten the deal like desserts of tiramisu, New York cheesecake and torta di cioccolata? The Saturday New York Italian Style Brunch also includes free-flowing complimentary white and red Italian wines, speciality Bloody Marys, American lagers and Bellini’s to give you the hair of the dog treatment for those nursing a weekend hangover. There’s also an option of soft drinks for those not indulging in booze, like anyone under 18 for example.

The brunch is priced at £49 per adult, with children under the age of 12 receiving a 50% discount, served from 12:30pm to 3:00pm every Saturday. For more information or to make a reservation, please email montagu.hrlondon@hyatt.com or call 020 7299 2037.
