Glastonbury, T in the Park and V festival. The idea is always nice but we we always end up having to go on two holiday afterwards and despite our previous proclamations too much day time g&t isn’t always the best way forward.

So leave your dodgy festival burger behind and join Galvin restaurants for the Galvin Festival of Food and Drink.

This years festival celebrates Galvins Food Heros. The supermen/women of food who have received the monthly Galvin Outstanding Supplier Award over the past year.

The head chef of each restaurant will be given a group of ingredients from Chris and Jeff’s Food Heroes where they will create their own unique menu – basically it is their version of Ready, Steady, Cook! The menus will be available from 11th-17th May. Can we go to all of them?

The Galvin Outstanding Supplier Award will recognise the finest suppliers based on criteria like seasonality and regionality. The chosen suppliers will be visiting  the restaurants to meet and greet guests, giving them the opportunity to discuss topics of provenance and sustaninability.

The celebrations don’t end there with the return of the much-loved Apple Tarte Tatin baking competition at Galvin Bistrot de Luxe on Baker Street and ‘A Taste of Galvin’, a garden party to be held at Gavlin Café a Win on Friday 15th May.

There will also be an assortment of foodie prizes to be won, among those is a VIP Laurent-Perrier Tasting at Taste London.

No need to buy wellies this year, the Louboutin’s will be taken out for the week.
