Ice & Slice’s Alcoholic Gelato

Ice & Slice’s Alcoholic Gelato

One of the best things about summer is ice cream. In the winter, ice cream is eaten when you’re crying on the sofa watching The Notebook. But in summer, ice cream is enjoyed while you soak up the sun and show off the great results of those endless spinning classes. Add alcohol in to the mix and you’ve pretty much got the perfect summertime combination. This is exactly what Ice & Slice by Shot are doing, with the launch of their brand-new ice cream ‘bar’, featuring alcoholic gelato.  Flavours will include Prosecco, Negroni and Aperol Spritz. These new flavours are the perfect way to enjoy a sneaky tipple without that one busybody reminding you that it’s not yet 5pm.

Guests can also enjoy non-alcoholic gelato, which promises to be just as tasty. This is made daily on the premises and comes in a variety of both classic and quirky flavours, ranging from Salted Caramel, Tiramisu and Mixed Berries to Violet Rose and Crunchy Corn Flakes. They’ve pretty much covered every ice-cream base with this huge selection of flavours and trust us, that can only ever be a good thing.

So if indulging in some liquor soaked gelato on a sunny summer afternoon is your idea of heaven, and if it isn’t please talk to a therapist, then Ice & Slice is the ideal setting for you. Just imagine the hilarity of explaining your hangover to your friends the next day…‘sorry, I can’t make it to lunch, I had one too many scoops of chocolate ice cream, absolutely mental night.’
