So you’ve done rooftop meditation and you’ve tried yoga whilst looking over the London skyline, well now it’s time to try rooftop hula hooping. You might have thought that hula hooping was just for the playground but you’d be wrong, nope it is in fact a great way to stay fit, tone your core muscles and keep your waist svelte – not just a game now is it?
Launching on the 17th June, The Berkeley spa will be hosting weekly classes for 6 hula-hoopers with HulaFit® founder Anna Byrne and as well as being much more fun than slogging away in the gym, you can also burn up to 600 calories in an hour which sounds pretty good to us.
Anna will be teaching a range of hula techniques and styles with moves such as ‘Waist Hooping’, ‘The Limbo’ and ‘Turning and Pirouettes’ and the ultimate ‘Booty Bump’ all designed to target core muscles for the ultimate abdominal workout…abs here we come.
Afterwards you’ll be able to jump into the pool for a much needed dip before having lunch poolside, after all it’s tiring work.
The hula classes will take place every Wednesday 12pm -1pm, to book a place email firstname.lastname@example.org.
