We all know that life in the city can be pretty stressful. Dealing with potent underarms on the tube, tourists who are far too excited by Leicester Square and painfully slow walkers, it is enough to drive any London dweller crazy. So it’s important that we align our inner chakras by doing some Sunrise Yoga at the Mondrian.

Taking place in the brilliantly named Rumpus Room, Sunrise Yoga allows you to start the week on a note of utter calm and mindfulness. Using a unique fusion of Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga to heat up the body, the classes are designed to cleanse and purify the mind, body and soul, which is always needed if our weekends are anything to go by. Each session is taken by Rebecca Keenaghan, an experienced yoga instructor who draws inspiration from various forms of the ancient healing art, enabling her students to unravel their own state of inner bliss through kind words and a positive attitude.

Your zen state will be furthered by the spectacular views of the London skyline that come with the Rumpus Room, allowing the perfect opportunity for an Instagram letting your many online fans know about your #cleanliving. The spectacular views from the Rumpus Room combined with the energy generated during the class allows guests to expand the mind and strengthen the body, in an environment suitable both for seasoned yoga lovers and beginners. This calm and uplifting start to your Monday is sure to leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and renewed. Well, it definitely sounds more relaxing than a morning session with your ex-military sergeant personal trainer.

Yoga in the Rumpus Room at the Mondrian, every Monday from 7-8am.
