Normally seen at street food markets, festivals and of course in the signature 1971 Citroen H Van, Fishdog from Mark Hix is staying put (well for three weeks) with the start of their residency at Farringdon’s much loved pub, The Hat and Tun next week.

Running every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening from the 29th July – 14th August, they’ll be serving up seriously good seafood but with their comfort food twist. You’ll find a selection of their signature dishes including spicy crab chips and the cheekily named Holy F***ed fish balls, croquettes served with spicy mayonnaise made from another favourite on the street food scene, The Rib Man’s Holy F**k hot sauce.

Wash it down with a Fentiman’s soda and of course you can’t not have pudding, so order the mini doughnuts that are rolled in cinnamon sugar and can be dipped in Cornish sea salt caramel – doesn’t get much more comforting than that.
