First came the bottomless brunch. Then came another bottomless brunch. And then another. And another… (Another). We never complain when our fourth prosecco is placed in front of us but emerging into the real world at midday and realising you really should have saved the drinking for that evening isn’t always the makings of a productive Saturday.
Imagine the next time you have a bottomless meal you walk out into the street and it is actually an acceptable hour to be tipsy. Enter Bottomless Suppers at The Exhibit. The Balham restaurant is launching for winter their new Free-Flow Suppers, every Thursday from 6pm till midnight. With tapas-style sharing dishes comes endless bubbles for an hour and a half after you order food, Thursdays suddenly got a whole lot thirstier. With three to four recommended per person it’s the perfect post-work, pre-night out venue; however stuffed you want to be is up to you. Choose from an imaginative selection which includes fish tacos, braised ox cheek mac and cheese and wild mushrooms with truffled potato puree.
The informal setting is the perfect weekend warm up. Is it Thursday yet?
