London Restaurant Festival Comes to Town

As the evenings get shorter we love to put our pajamas on as soon as we walk through the door in the evening. Whack on the kettle and heat up a big bowl of soup and we’re going nowhere fast.

London Restaurant Festival is making us re-evaluate what it is exactly about eating out which is so great. Trying amazing food we wouldn’t be able to cook ourselves is a huge part of it but there’s also the social side of it – the buzz in a restaurant as everyone oohs and aahs over their meals, whips out their phone before the poor waiter has a chance to put the plate down and, of course, that unbeatable feeling (and social media favourite) when you see your meal coming towards you.

So to reignite these feelings of sheer joy, London Restaurant Festival is hosting a series of events during October; restaurant hopping tours, gourmet champagne odysseys and bespoke ‘inspired by London’ four course meal hosted by top chefs. Think how many of the World’s best restaurants are on our doorstep – you really don’t have to travel far.

London Restaurant Festival runs from 1 – 31st October 2015
